I feel like the concept of utility is being evaluated subjectively. Is it someone who shares my views? Or is it someone with whom I can work towards the same goal, even if I disagree?
Communities seeking unity with like-minded groups hope to foster unity by sharing their common rights and grievances with one another and by adhering to the same principles internally. Those who can collaborate with differing ideologies strive to reach an agreement, understand the other, persuade, or be persuaded to resolve the issue at hand. Progress is achieved through these internal practices because adaptation to a constantly changing life is at the core of the group.
Whatever we are experiencing today, whether individually, as a community, as a country, or globally, exists because a unity has somehow materialized. If things tried before haven’t been successful, it’s not the fault of the people on the other side. It’s because something isn’t being structured correctly within.
